What You’ll Do:
As our MERN Stack Maestro, you’ll be the architect behind seamless user interfaces, using React.js magic like
Redux, Flux, and Webpack. But that’s not all – you’ll also dive into the backend, wielding Node.js and Express.js to
build robust services that power our applications. Your creations will set the bar high and inspire awe among your
peers.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles.
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux).
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript.
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js).
- Knowledge of MongoDB, Node.js, and Express.js
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
- Familiarity with code versioning tool such as “Git”
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with MySQL, SQL, and PostgreSQL
- Familiarity with modern front-end applications
- Experience with a testing framework (Jest/Mocha)
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus.
- Familiarity with Material UI, Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS
Responsibilities:
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js.
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and
browsers. - Integrating third-party APIs.
- Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
- Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders.
- Implementing server-side logic using Node.js to handle requests and responses between the front-end
and the database. - Designing and managing the data layer of the application with MongoDB, ensuring high performance
and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. - Creating robust and secure Express back-end applications to process and route HTTP requests efficiently.
