His last assignment is with Peoples Cooperative Society, as a Founder CEO who has brought about an incredible transformation in the organization’s growth and development. He joined as a first employee in the society, with in three months the turnover was 35 lakhs, his exceptional skills have ensured organization to flourished state, and it now boasts a turnover of 240 crores with 51,000+ customer base. Mr. Rakesh is a remarkable individual who has made a significant impact on the growth and development of each organisation he worked with. Under his visionary leadership, the organisations saw unprecedented growth and has shown great impact on every employee worked under his leadership, with this organisation has shown significant increase in revenue and customer base during his tenure. V.V. Ramana Rao

With over 50 years of distinguished service, V.V. Ramana Rao stands as a pillar of the Indian banking industry. His illustrious career began with a B.Com from Andhra University in 1972 and Part I of CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Bankers. Rising through the ranks, Rao retired as Deputy General Manager of Indian Bank in 2012, leaving a legacy marked by innovation and dedication.

As Chairman of Saptagiri Grameena Bank, he doubled its business within three years and led it to become a pioneer in implementing Core Banking Solutions. His tenure saw the bank achieve remarkable productivity and near-zero NPAs. Later, as Managing Director of The Coastal Local Area Bank Limited, he spearheaded financial inclusion initiatives and significantly increased the bank’s network and profitability.

Rao’s expertise extends beyond his executive roles, contributing as a consultant to several cooperative banks and serving as a guest faculty at various training institutes. His commitment to rural and industrial credit has earned him numerous accolades, including the prestigious Rolling Silver Shield for Best Management of a Rural Branch.
